Maybe an option to auto-delete alerts that are x days old would be fine but I personally like the alerts, especially during re-signing and recruiting.

I think he's talking about the flashing Alert button that appears next to a player's team name when the team owner posts a team alert.

To which I say, maybe click on them and read them so the Alert logo will go away?

I mean, if the team owner posted an Alert, it's probably because there's something he wants you to read. Just read the damn thing.

That does stink

I have had some from years ago

This would save users time as they don't have to check on alerts more than a week old.
