and a few notes about the teams I know something about:

Philly Franklins. This team has been around a long time and has always been p good if my memory serves. This team advances from Regional Pro#4 as a first round playoff loser to West Texas Rattlesnakes (who they crushed 59-7 in the regular season). Makes you wonder if they wanted to stay in Reg Pro?? Maybe they just overlooked the team. Maybe zero cares. I do think they choose CPL for an easier path to WL; I don't remember this team ever being in Canada before. The rest of you don't like that? Do something about it.

Moose Jaw Roughriders
WL veteran team who has won WL playoff games. According to their team page they have a 63% career record in WL. If your team is fortunate enough to get a win from this group, you'll have something to talk about in your team forum. This team gets my early vote for the most likely to have the most games gameplanned against in the regular season.

Legacy's Dead on Arrival This is a promotee team owned and operated by the notorious hatchman. He owns all 55 dots. If they don't get tactics set, you know who's fault it is. This team has a very high APV so you know hatchman can build dots...and built to be in his system...time will tell if the system can get past the likes of your team's coordinators and builders.

Burnside Bandits Being new here myself, I can't say I know a whole lot about this team. I'm certainly familiar with JoeRule and many of his GMs...and I am also aware that this team missed making it to WL by a FG last season. If there is a team who is motivated to get over the hump this season, look out. I am sure they are as motivated as ever.

Monmouth Evil Monkeys If you aren't familiar with MEM, welcome to GLB. I hope you enjoy the game. This is one of the oldest franchises still in existence with S1 hardware and the winners of the infamous S8 I slam Pro World Tournament as well as WL veterans. This was always a USAPL team (I think) so maybe they moved to CPL like many of you did in order to get an easier ticket. I dunno. I do suspect MEM is responsible for at least 100 agents rage quitting this game over the many seasons. Come prepared or you may be next.

Bloodweiser Bugle All Stars
I know next to nothing about this team which probably speaks to my own ignorance. They have S15 CPL Gold hardware, so WL experienced. From what I can find, they were in WL in S16 and S19 and didn't do much when they got there. They got curb-stomped by the Cox Hood squad who was here last season in the opening round of the playoffs, so how legit of a threat this team is remains a mystery to me. I wouldn't be surprised if they were contenders or pretenders.

District 9 Prawns
Dotball Syndicate team with a history of winning. They have been to WL several times with WL Playoff experience. DS teams always expect to advance to WL and you probably should expect them to as well. They were stopped short of WL by a single point last season, falling to the Cox Hood team. Failure to advance to WL for a second straight season would be surprising...but with a lot of holes in the current roster, we'll see if DS has enough dots to supply this team for another run. My early guess is they will.

Sainte-Foy Norduques 3.0
A real Canadian team? I think I remember this team from Regional Pro Elite S27 when my team ECE was there. This was a solid team then and I assume they are solid now. They have advanced from Reg Pro #5 as a 2nd round playoff loser...so I reserve the right to be skeptical of their ability to contend for a title. They seem to be mad about something in their team note, so maybe they are extra motivated.

THE SOCIETY OF TEXAS FOOTBALL
Texas is not in Canada, so I demand a name change. Guessing that probably won't happen. ALL CAPS MEANS SRS BZNS THO. This team comes out of Reg Pro #6 as a Silver Medalist...they are representing the BOLN network, which I did not realize still existed. Good luck to this team...if I had to guess, they'll be battling to avoid Reg Pro next season. They should have a shot though.

Buffalo KnightsThis team has a BUNCH of close losses last season to some very good teams, and they got served pretty good in the playoffs by Burnside (30-9). No shame in that, and with 15 or so dots missing from the roster, I assume they are out to improve on those results. I won't be sleeping on this team. Will they get better or slide? As last season's 6th Seed, they don't have much room to regress. The pressure is on.

San Diego AquaBats
This team was cruising through RegPro #4 last season before running into speed bumps against Philly Franklins and Krakow. Despite getting their asses handed to them in the regular season (maybe to better position themselves in the playoffs?) they gave Krakow a good game but coming up short in the third round. I expect this team to be p good and compete for the playoffs.

Drunk Masterminds
I know nothing about this team other than some very well known GMs. Upon my initial inspection, my thought was they will head back to Reg Pro...which probably means they'll win Gold.

Reykjavik Rhombus I would love to hear some sound clips of everyone's version on how to say this team's name. I seem to remember this team being decent, but they did get beat down pretty good in their last playoff appearance against MEM. Anytime you get shown up like that in a playoff game, there is cause for concern. Maybe that's why they have a 42 man roster at the moment. That's my uninformed guess...working to get to the next level. They'll have to work pretty hard to beat some of the teams listed above them on this list.

~Legacy's~ Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies
RPE#2 champs roll in with a young roster and a brief history of winning a lot of playoff games...but my suspicion is that this team was built to win at the lower levels and will get sent packing right back to Reg Pro after this season.

Golden Hill Bones
Another team I have seen around for a long time, they advance here from RPE#1...but via an absolute beat-down to the one man team Graz Grizzlies (whom they out-leveled). That doesn't project well for this team and they are also on my list of teams most likely to demote. With a roster of 29, they will have chemistry issues but also the potential to drastically improve.

Ottawa Silicon Valley Elites This team promotes from RP#7 and got absolutely man handled in the second round by some team I've never heard of. With a nearly full roster and not much room to improve, this team earns my vote for most likely not to win a single game.

Overall all...no WL demoting teams which is why I'm sure many of the new teams chose to come here. Good luck to all of you and may the best team move one and earn the title of North American Pro Champs.

Hey T2,

Nice writeup! Burnside is the old IBB team. I bought the team from the owner and changed the name about 5 seasons ago. We had a few run ins with 6th street back in the day.

So are you throwing us a bone with FBRDs builds? I think you're just blowing smoke!

Damn T2 good write up. but I do not think most people will have to worry about my team. I am relearning how to OC so I do not expect much this season to be honest. my team only won last season due to my DC wearing teams out and me getting lucky every now and then on the offense.

T2, I assume you did not take level into account on your batch of analysis. Am I correct?

I glanced at every team, but honestly, I don't know much about most. Just trying to stir up a little in here. This was the worst Pro forum I saw (prior to us picking a conference) so now it is my mission to make it better. I am probably WAY off on a few teams.

I know a lot of people disliked the move from 8 Natty Pro leagues to 4, but it's hard to argue with the increased competitiveness at this level...GG Bort?
