i have been playing most of the season on rde and have been getting abit of tackles and other stuff there but 2 games ago i was switched to lde in in 2 games i have only made 1 tackle so i was wondering is that normal that LDE gte less stats then RDE or is my player just in a slump

Nope. Teams run to the right more often. You should get more tackles there. Of course, ROTs typically have better builds/higher levels than LOTs. Plus, you get double teamed as a LDE more often. This is probably a build issue. LDEs and RDEs should have different builds.

LDE gets double/triple teamed a LOT, especially on running plays. This results in energy (or "breath") being reduced faster and the backup coming in for more plays, specifically on 3rd downs. LDE needs to be more strength oriented to sustain success.

ever since i've moved to LDE from RDE, i've actually seen a uptick in stats over the last 4 games. the triple teams are killer though.

i disagree, most teams put their best blocker at LT because he is 1 on 1 with the RE. the the RT is usually mainly strength, which is good if ur a pass rusher. in my experience i usually beat the RT easily but am then blocked by the RG or the TE.

i've played LE my entire time on this site and have gotten much more production than my teams RE, who has a very similar build. so i would have to say that LE is easier for production

The LDE seems to get double teamed by the TE and RT. If the TE goes out for passes and you're 1 on 1 with the RT, you should be getting some good stats.

So would strength be the primary stat here, with stamina being something you should train? Occasionally dumping a few points into speed/agility/vision?

you don't want to try and out-strength someone like a RT

Strength should be priority number 1 though because you dont want to get pancaked otherwise you have a bunch of blockers heading to your LB and then you are in real trouble. Get blocking up to 60 with equipment...both my Level 21 and 17 DE's are there and they do a great job of stopping the run on the right side.

at LDE, I'm only at 51.5 STR, but i can still handle triple teams.
