The number one thing that makes me ponder GLBs longevity is the lack of care exhibited in the game forums.

My three pro teams all made the playoffs. One so far has made the second round.

No one in the team forums, I post away but mostly get nothing in reply.

The National Pro league forum is equally silent. Its an hour or two to playoff round 1 and you can't buy a post to read.

No one cares.

What can we do to get the care back?????

Focus on just running one team, so you'll care about it more.

Fore cares to come one must reference loose skin, and those who are breast fed until their teen years.

Ask yourself, what did you do to raise the cares of your opponents? Did you make a s32 demotion meter?

Two ways to increase the cares:

1. Spend time writing up reviews of the matchups, include predictions. I know most coordinators/owners will become more engaged when people are talking about the performances of their team. And then do some follow ups after the games. Just going into league forums and saying "GG _________" isn't going to do it. Be creative.

2. Find a villain, or become the villain. Every league needs at least one, otherwise it becomes a bunch of nice guys with little pleasantries. In a perfect world we all enjoy a peaceful coexistence, but it's a little more difficult to keep people coming into the forums if nobody is saying anything negative. You don't need to be a jerk, although it helps, but call out another team and tell them how your team is going to destroy them.

I promise you if you would have went into your teams forums, particularly your Pro team's forum, and starting telling all those scrubs how you were going to end their WL dreams...that thread would have been cash money.
