So I owned a team for 20 something seasons, The Red Tide, I left the game for awhile but am back and want to buy. Should I buy a team for sale now and choose to drop down or wait to buy a rookie team?

I feel like it is a silly question but I bought a team in season 4 and never had to buy another.

Do you have a roster in place or will you be recruiting? If recruiting then I would buy one now.

Recruiting but I want to create a rookie team so of course none of the players are built yet.

If you buy now, you will already have a team in place..while new teams get handed out Day 45-46. Much easier to recruit and sign dots when you already have a team.

Even if you start recruiting now, it's always better to have players on your team than players on a spreadsheet who may or may not end up signing with your team.

So, buy now and demote.

If you don't end up buying a team now at least get a private forum so that you can add the agents that you are getting commits from and start getting some team talk going.
