With the playoffs coming up is there a reason to wait till day 40 to boost rather than day 31. Do you get daily exp during playoffs? I know there is no game exp for playoffs.

According to the wiki daily exp continues until day 40. Not sure if that's still accurate but I'm thinking yes.

Training gains before ALG's is another reason to wait. Matters more in rookie season than later in build seasons. 2nd season should boost from 22-25, so by time playoffs hit y'already boosted. Many say to boost to 35 in 3rd season to increase VXP. Seasons following it hardly matters much anymore and many go ahead and boost early.

If I have rookie dot's going to playoffs I boost them once before 1st playoff game to hit lvl 16 and get EQ upgrades.
If team reaches CC game I boost other 2, otherwise I wait till day 46-47
If no playoffs boost all 3 on day 46-47

Reason to boost for playoffs is to win in the playoffs. Otherwise it's a personal decision. Just know the longer you delay boosting the better training gains you get for those skills. Over time, perhaps a 1 or 2 point gain over early boosters in those skills. (VPB would show it better, I would think.) A small gain at best... but a gain nonetheless.

Almost forgot. There is one time it's an advantage to "boost early" and that's to get to the Vet abilities as soon as possible so you get more vet points.
