no reason for that restriction tbh
Forum > Suggestions > allow players to accept or reject contracts even if they are playing in a game
I suspect there's a reason. Just about everything player related is locked down during a game, probably so changes aren't made to the player mid-sim. If the contract is part of the player record in the database, then I completely understand why it can't be changed. It could probably be changed by breaking contract out into its own table or (if player and contract are in their own tables) changing how the player and contract table are currently designed but changing database design in any way will have impacts larger than this "small" change.

Just log it to occur after the game is finished. I can see them texting on the sideline...

New VA!
Twitter Genius - This player loves Twitter and draws inspiration from his followers. For every point in Twitter Genius, this player gains a +0.02% bonus to his Confidence for every 1 point of Fame.
For a player with, say, 2044 Fame, that would work out to about +6 Confidence.

I see no reason why not, normally, contract signings are handled by the agent, if the changes didn't take effect until afterwards, could that work?

My guess is it has to do with the moral bonus, which would be locked in like any other factor while a game is simming.

Yeah. I'd give this thought a "Bingo".
