If I have a specific play I want a certain WR, is it possible for me to force this WR in the AI?

To be more specific:
The same way you can force the AI to let only RQBs run whatever play you want due to QB1, QB2 slot and the slots in the AI, can i do this for WR?

Custom WR slots imo.

It's all about timing IMO..mixed with the custom WR slots. Change the QB's progression, and time it to the WR you assume will be open at that time, in that play. If there is another way..I have no idea.

where?

EDIT:
I know the DC has 5 custom WR slots, but the AI doesn't,
so how do I use the slots to force certain WRs?

Actually I was trying to go a different way with it, I was sort of leaning toward a possible Blocking WR setup, but I don't think thats possible anymore.

I hear you... You are probably trying to get the Power Receivers outside on the sweeps etc.. That is timing also... You could put your Power guys in the WR1 and WR3 (for example) this is within the depth chart. Then you could put the other guy below him, and hope to heck, that your power guy is not tired during that particular play call. 1st second down etc... since you will likely pass on later downs.

Oh ok,
because i tried something like this with my current team,
I tried to make a screen man, but nothing worked

So, it sounds like you want a really fast WR in the slot to get a screen pass...So, either the WR1 or WR3 screen plays? If that's the case, you can have that particular WR listed in the WR1 or WR3 custom slot with no other WR in there and it should (If I recall) use just that dot in that position. Now, this is going to be that way for every play, you can't change it per play. If there are a couple dots you are ok being that screen man, just put them both in those slots in the order you want them used first and then it will be based on their energy levels at the time.

I think this is my best bet, I don't need the blocking WRs outside EVERY down,
but that would be favorable.

If I can get the BWR on the outside for 50% of the runs, then that should show.

use of DC slots, packaging, and AI calls are how you force plays to any position

No promises that 50% of the time you'll get these guys in at the moment you need them.. It could be 0% or 100%.... anytime you "hope to heck" something will happen when you need it to, well it typically happens when you don't want it to at all.

if it's a passing play that's not a screen, you can force passes to certain players when selecting progressions for the plays in packages.
all WL/Pro OC's use this

progressions can adjust route timing and various other things with the play. all plays have a default, but if you double or triple you can often force a throw to a particular receiver despite coverage

It's a screen

You told me this before, and I implemented it into many of my passes with great great great success. I am looking for the next step however.

well if it's a screen... and you want to force certain players on particular plays, outside of the custom slots on the DC/forcing starters and backups on 3rd down or 1st/2nd, not much you can do.
