So, when you train up your primary attributes to the 90ish% range (the point when you stop pumping SP into it) when is the best time in the dots career to go ahead and roll that last training sessions to get to next cap? Like right now my kicker will only get 1% from any type of training, however he's only level 50 right now...should I wait until he's older?

It is exactly equal. If you're getting 1% now, you can't get less than that later, so whenever it is convenient for you. However, I would never train at 1% per train and would have done it already at a higher training efficiency.

well, if my training % is at 97 to 99%, it will only take 1 to 3 sessions to roll over... I was just waiting to gain more ALG's... figured that was the idea behind it.

I have always been led to believe that anytime after you hit a point that you will no longer be adding SP's into an attribute it should be safe to train over.
That being said, you need to balance that with the early training of other attributes as you don't want to miss out on a training other important majors in order to roll your top over the cap.

I think there is some confusion on my questions...maybe
So, like anyone building good dots. I stopped training my #1 attribute in his first season and pumped SP into it until something like when it cost 10SP to hit next cap.. or something like that, can't remember. Anyway, his training % is in the high 90's so I can train on light (6BT's) like 2 times and roll over. However, right now he's still getting ALG's, so no matter how much higher my primary gets (cap wise) my training % will not change. So, should I wait longer? Or am I at that point where my ALG's aren't that high to really wait for.

Go ahead and roll it over. If your done training it and done spending skill points in it than go ahead and use a couple of training sessions and roll it over and be officially done with your primary attribute.

You're getting the same ALG's whether you roll it over or not. You will still get those same ALG's after rollover. Only reason not to train it over would be if you want to add more SP's into that attribute. If you are going to ad more SP's into that attribute, you would wait so you could save an SP at some point before hitting the next cap level. Once you are done spending SP's in that attribute, nothing with ALG's will change.

so you guys dont think it is better to have all your attributes rolled to 97-99% then use the final offseason before plateau to roll over all the attributes at the highest possible point?

no mathematical advantage at all... in fact it can hurt you because you may not have enough TP to close 'em all out and hit your training benchmarks.

Ouch...
That is NOT someone building good dots. Most people train their primary for several seasons after finishing their SP dumping there. I suggest urgent re-evaluation of what are good building practices :|
As you've been told, right now it doesn't matter. Now or later it is equal. You should have already done it.

Agree.....most good dot builders spend multiple seasons training their primary. They usually train it til it is around 90-99 naturally depending on the position and their goals with the build.

I love how you guys correct him and then respond with some incredibly vague and just as terrible response.
Training your primary as part of 4-way multi-training until you get it where you want it based on SP application and training is where you want to go
