The attributes that help tackling in general are usually considered to be (roughly in order) tackling, agility, strength, vision, confidence.

Having low energy (stamina) or morale hurts your tackling score quite a bit.

Having more (momentum) speed during a given tackle usually helps improve your tackling score, and of course having more speed also makes it possible that you will attempt a "regular" tackle rather than a diving tackle.

So would Agility cover the momentum part of tackling? I'm only asking because Speed isn't on this list.

Momentum could be roughly determined to be mass x speed (at the moment of impact) in this game. So speed is involved in the momentum.
