I've been thinking for a while about purchasing some Flex Points in order to get some additional players. Then I came across this wiki page: http://wiki.goallineblitz.com/index.php/Create_a_Player

So my question is this: If I only plan to purchase Flex Points and use those points to create players (no boosting, etc.) is it really worth it? Will my players just be garbage? I know Free players get the 3 free boosts per season, how much of a difference does this make when comparing to non-boosted, FP-purchased players?

I don't really want to spend money on creating players if they're just going to suffer from my lack of continued Flex Point purchasing.

You can sign with team in your age bracket, but you might not crack the starting line-up, most good teams rotate players evenly, no n boosting players do fairly decent for awhile, but aren't that great in the higher levels.

$3-$9 is really a misstatement given the discounts based on volume with flex purchases.

One of the non-boost teams would probably sign your players. That's if you don't mind never making the playoffs after the first season or so and not playing for a trophy.

plus you get back 70% of boosting and CE expenditures and 100% of origination costs

No, just telling you that if you don't want to boost your dots that peewee or a private non-boost league is your best route.
