I can't accurately answer the question as it depends on many factors, mainly how many pieces of equipment you want to use.

Here's some info that should help you get your answer.

Assuming a 56 day training period per season:
Intense = 112 tokens
Normal = 224 tokens
Light = 336 tokens
2 Way Multi = 112 tokens
3 Way Multi = 152 tokens
4 way Multi = 168 tokens

It takes 1,275 bonus tokens for three max pieces at level 72

Assuming you fully build all 3 of those pieces

300BT per piece for 10 upgrades
125BT per piece to build a +3 attribute/5% piece(or one of the expensive SA's)

180 days old imo. Maybe later.

For a 3-AEQ position, day 200 is usually a good bet. For a 4-aeq position earlier, 160 or even a tad earlier. Depends on luck on shop...

day limits are bad

it all depends on how many BT's you'll need to finish your equipment and any bonus SAs/swaps. It's good to leave yourself a little wiggle room at the end of the build as well.

im switching this pile of trash over to light training now, probably. going for 4 AEQ and i just need some luck with shopping.

you might be able to stop a little later if youre going for 4 AEQ depending on how you build/train.

You'd be better of going for 3 and multi training more.

Yeah this, you just gotta do the math, or just ask the VPB. I usually get a ballpark like "mid season 35" put into my player note then I do the math again at the end of season 34ish to see if I'm ahead or behind where I'd thought I'd be and make any adjustments for EQ and bonus SAs that I might have changed my mind on then. Sometimes you get lucky in the EQ store and find out you can go another half season before switching.

Closer to day 240 but depends on how many Bt's you use for training enhancements and shopping.

Depends on how much you want to gamble on the shop, and how lucky or not you get.

Just rolled the dice at level 37 on a punter because I was bored. Got 4 pieces he can use (+3 Punting, +3 Punting & Big Boot, Big Boot, Hang Time) which are worth 194 BTs and he spent 157 to get them at the shop. This means that he can multi train through Day -6 of Season 34, or age 160 and a post season basically. Have not VPB'd to see if he will take it to there exactly or stop a little earlier to leave percentages closer to roll over. But that would be what I think was a mediocre to crummy shopping trip.

I have had some builds get lucky enough to train through Day 216 and still have 4 loaded AEQ.

But usually its not that high.

As noted above it depends on how lucky you get with your roles, and that depends on how patient you are to start rolling. Shopping before 40 is probably pretty dumb. Before 50 is not really wise either. But you have to shop at 50 to know when you have to stop.

4 AE kickers and punters are unnecessary

3 is more than fine (one for each SA) as with 3 AE, + Bonus CE you can get 10-10-10 with only 2-2-1 in SP spent
