OK, it's probably some type of energy/auto sub feature, but anyways here is my dilemma

This team http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=2821 is not using the punter to do the punting , even though he is the only dot listed in the ST depth chart under P(unter)

It keeps forcing the Kicker to do the punting

Now the Punter is also on the depth chart in a few other places:
in3(1) <-- kick off coverage team

pr(2) <-- punt returner when opponent punts

and ss(3) . <-- for lulz

I am assuming it's his snaps at SS that is burining up his energy,even though he is 3rd string SS. The 2 SS's in front of him on the depth chart are also the 2 FS's, so he is getting some plays at SS .But he is also getting put in at CB5(although not listed there in the DC, no dots are) and on punts it is playing him at the SE2 spot instead of as the Punter where he is listed as in the depth chart.

Don't have any of the specialized slots filled on the ST's, except Punter,Kicker, and Kick/Punt return spots.

So,why is the game putting the kicker in as punter and playing the punter at SE2 on punt away plays (even though not listed that way)?

I would fill in all the slots on the punt team and then it should be fine

Since no one is listed in those slots, perhaps it is choosing by attributes (speed) for that punt team slot and fills it before it gets to the punter

damn that sounds like work,and for a -0- cares team that aint what I want to be doing, lol.

Guess I will have no choice though. You are probaly100% correct I just didn't want to hear it.

You put more work in posting all that than it would have taken to just throw some players in on the special teams depth chart since you have zero cares as you say.

I never said I had -0- cares, I posted the team is -0- cares. I do care about my dot and want him to punt,I don't care what happens to the team, it's just a filler for dot's nobody else wants (like the linked punter for example,lol)

And typing out fifty words and adding a couple links isn't much work for me, takes all of a minute. Filling in a depth chart would take much more effort.

and also it'snot like this punter just got the speed added this season, it's been a gradual climb since rookie and he has always played for same team, as has at least half of the current human part of the roster. This is first time I have added him to the SS depth chart so I thought maybe that was causing something due to energy levels,until I realized he was actually still playing on the punt away team just not as the punter.

Anyways I guess I'll fill in the Punt Team depth and see if that fixes it (imagine it would)

Had same issue it seemed AFTER the chart was done I thought.

Not enough care to go back and look though.

if you auto reorder the depth chart wouldn't that plug people in automatically?

that's like 2 seconds of cares for a 0 cares team

Pretty sure already auto re-ordered the ST chart. It is one of the few team's I can adjust the Dc on and not have firefox crash

This was not only happening on the minors team I noticed it on,

It was happening in my National Pro team too

For much loss. Like 2 of them.

Auto reorder does not fill slots on ST, fwiw
Except returner , kicker and punter slots
