If my FB is getting 200 targets it can't hurt to get a little PQ bonus too . Just wanna make sure it works

Yes...it works for FB's and TE's but if you use Bort's progressions it will always select any WR's that have it first. If you use your custom progressions it will work based on your progressions.
Go to Guy works for any offensive player, but if there are multiple GtG players on the field it orders by the following progression (in regards to depth chart slot):
- Depth chart for WR (e.g. WR1 over WR2)
- HB
- FB
- TE
- Depth chart for WR (e.g. WR1 over WR2)
- HB
- FB
- TE

I believe whodey is correct that custom progressions will alter the GtG ordering. With the WRs being first no matter what. Probably need a Q&A confirmation on that one.

Could the "go to guy" VA be used sucessfully by a TE? If one looks at the literal wording of it, it seems to imply that it was designed only for WRs. Another implication seems to be that even if a TE *could* benefit from the VA that the presence of even one WR on the field that also had the VA would trump the TE having it.
Answer:
It can be if the TE is the only one (or one of few receiving threats) with the VA. If there is a TE and WR on the field at the same time and both have the VA, the WR will take precedence.
