My understanding is that if I want to rest my QB a bit I can line up anyone eles at QB on HB/FB rushing plays and there is no OOPP as long as they just handoff the ball (they don't throw it or run with it themselves). Correct me if I'm wrong so far.

Any guesses on what the OOPP is for the non-QB to run as the QB? HB? FB? WR? TE? any difference in using any of those--is a HB/FB going to have less OOPP than a WR/TE? If you auto-set your depth chart with no QB on the roster the default seems to favor HBs--can this be a clue that HBs have the lowest OOPP?

Is the OOPP higher/any different if someone non-QB THROWS the ball? I'm not actually considering this, but just out of curiosity.

Last I heard the OOP for any dot other than QB playing QB was up to 50%.

We've actually been using that a bit lately (using the HB at QB in a wildcat style). However, we've NEVER tried to pass with that setup. Sounds too scary to me. But running out of it seems to work fine.
