My team just lost 63 to 101 against team that consisted of cpu players expect for the QB. The QB had 916 rushing yards. What I am I doing wrong? This is the second game a QB has single-handed killed my team with rushing and I have no idea what is fundamentally wrong with my team.

Maybe it's because you are using the tackic tab, instead of the tactics tab.


inb4 JCJayhawk is a mod that is cheating at the game

Easiest way to stop rushing QBs is by using custom plays and AIs that utilize tagging. You will need to run a regular team though to do this instead of a casual team. I've never played casual so I can't tell you how to stop them at that level.

Casual team... that stuff doesn't work too well, spies are ok, you really need to be in a zone pass defense, if I remember correcly

no, i was agreeing, and informing the OP i had to edit it,cause phones and fat fingers don't go together sometimes.

I've found that the 'Tagged' Preset is pretty decent for dealing with rushing QBs. Just make sure to tag per the FAQ: http://goallineblitz.com/game/faq.pl?cat=Team%20Ownership#274

At the rookie casual level it's probably going to be a little harder to 'shut him down' but that will get better as the season goes on and your builds improve.

No, not really. Not with the 'Tagged' Preset.

anyone else notice that over the past few (i dunno, several weeks at least) that Romo/McBriar has become like some kind of super-advice dude... awesome improvement in helpfulness and attitude.

seriously, doing a great job here

but also, am starting to suspect that Romo and McBriar aren't actually the same guy.
