I saved up a ton of BTs on a few of my dots and got nothing but a bunch of worthless shit.

I mean seriously why do offensive players have stuff in there that defenders would use? I mean if that dot was an offensive linemen then he would have made out like a bandit...

This seriously needs to be looked at. I understand its supposed to be somewhat random but getting +3 jumping and 5% Hold Block over and over is not random...

It does suck. I understand getting hold block and make tackle a lot since a lot of different positions need them but it is still crazy

My Level 19 dots each got a nice piece to develop. Player A got it after 3 or 4 rolls. Player B on the first.

I've never had problems with shopping. I always win when it comes to saving BTs versus not.

Part of it is knowing when to shop. Waiting until the end of your build is the wrong way to do it.

Why would it be wrong? I get more slots when I wait till later on. Why would you get better pieces at say level 31 or 41 than 61?

As you rise up in level, you more or less add pools of EQ possibilities into your selection pool. Let's just say it gets quite cluttered for some positions, lol.

Why wouldn't there be the same pools at all levels? If you get better EQ at early levels then this game is more ass backwards than I thought.

It's not that you get better EQ at early levels in terms of 'hey, I found a +3 primary +5%'.

There is just a higher ratio of 'I could upgrade/use this' to crap. At high levels, there are soooo many crap pieces floating around in your selection pool. Obviously Bort didn't code things ideally, but with an understanding of the pools for each position you can have a pretty good strategy.

To give the obvious hint without yielding my competitive advantage, years back someone did a study on AEQ rolls.

Yeah, a lot of people now are saying that level 40 is about the time when you should roll. It's worth it to try and roll for your first 2 pieces and anything that is expensive. If it is a cheap SA, just buy it. By the time you upgrade it and change it (if necessary) you don't save that many BTs. I also am very OCD about my eq I don't want +3 vision on my CB. I want all speed no questions asked.

Certain positions should never roll.
Kicker and Punters especially suck.

Usually I only roll when looking for my first and second 5% piece.
After that, I buy.
