Yep, if they're not going to get rid of them (which they should have done when the marketplace was introduced) then they should at least try to make it less terrible.

When I put together a proposal for Pallow it involved dumping the position-based subforums and simply having subforums for GMs/OCs/DCs and then 'minor league' dots. Essentially the main would be any dot of Regional Pro+ age. Then the subforum would encompass the rest (mods would have to move threads as necessary during the adoption-phase).

Having too many subforums just dumbs down traffic (and traffic creates the excitement of the PLFT forum)

I likewise proposed scrapping TLFP besides new team creation, as that whole system is crap, but that's a whole different thread.
