With the addition of the second free player last season, has that caused a drop in the amount of dots in our age group? I let some players go last season fully expecting to upgrade the position and I was really surprised just how weakthe FA market was at some positions,

Did the addition of the free dot cause a lot of agents with rookies last season to retire them and re-create this season to keep their dots together?

The way the second free player was handled really kinda threw a wrench into this generation of dots, IMO.

Also, if there was a boom in the amount of rokie dots created this season, could it lead to less rookie dots being created next season, leading the next generation to experience the same problem?

Sure. Has been simce they started giving teams out like free candy.

But the prep market was the worst FA market I've ever seen, tbh.

It's always tough recruiting at sub-regional pro levels because the level of cares is pretty low for young dots. There are a lot of guys who have available dots but they basically view things to be on 'cruise control'. It's not worth their time to find a better home.

Perhaps an issue GLB should look to remedy. Come up with something that can get agents a little excited again and give them reason to log in and do things.

I always thought they needed to reorganize the HoF rankings into some sort of highschool recruit-esque listing for sub 240 day old dots. Some sort of calculation of stats, effective value, etc. for each age group. Could even give out trophies for the "GLB150" or something.

So how possible is it that next season's rookie market will be as weak, or nearly so?

Smart. I thought aboit tanking last season and starting over, thinking this season might see a huge boom in rookies. Ultimately I chose wrong and risked sticking with it, hoping it wouldn't completely destroy the market.

I remember a few seasons back it was like that and there was one elite league and two non-competitive leagues. If you had a full roster in one of the two non-competitive leagues you were most likely going to stroll to a gold trophy.
