This suggestion has been brought up several times (although not in the first 6 pages of this forum). I don't understand why it is not even in Epic Suggestions.
When a player is created, he should already have 4 pieces of empty basic equipment. Not only is it a hassle when you have many new dots; but for new users, the interface is a little awkward. I have had to explain several times to new agents how to build free EQ. The prominent display of "Attribute Bonus" and "Bonus Ability" at the top of the Options for building new equipment confuses new users into thinking they must spend Flex for equipment.
Please consider including 4 blank pieces of basic equipment when creating a new player. As far as color - either start with Black and let the user change each piece later, or have a drop down to select the color for all pieces.
This should not be a big deal to implement, and it would improve the GLB experience for veterans and new users alike.
