Do power rushers work or is it better to just go with the speed rushers?

They work quite well

Both work in my opinion. Matter of preference is all. Speedster is more likely to break off the big TD runs but a well built power rushing QB can do damage and move the chains too and break off some TD runs as well.

Depends on what you mean as a Power rusher?

I assumed a high strength power thru type of QB rusher.

Seems a good defense has a harder time stopping the power rusher. While a bad defense allows a speed rusher to rack up stats.

whats the point of that? You get the same results from an elusively built rushing QB and power thru actually kinda sucks for a rushing QB after seeing it on a QB for a couple seasons now.

Depends on the plans for the QB. You throw in a well built pure power rushing QB who can run inside or outside runs and throw in scat FB's and elusive HB's and power Hb's and receiving TE's and the defense never knows if its going to be inside rush or an outside rush. You may not break off a ton of TD's but you can move the chains and keep the other team's offense off the field while your defense rests.

Sounds like a lot of effort for a shitty player.

I guess I don't really understand what you mean by a power rusher....in my head it is a slow RQB.

Not at all....I am not worried about using him to throw the ball at all. He will be multi training strength, carrying, speed, and agility for a VERY long time.

I don't want to give away our exact strategy but there is logic behind the madness.
