You know, the H back position... TE and FB should be interchangeable within offense
Forum > Suggestions > Make OPP between FB and TE zero
At the very least the OOP penalty should be lower than standard 5%... more like 2% tops.

how is that an exploit? FP cost is the same

In reality, a FB is still probably better if the OoP is 5% for that reason.

Just add plays that actually employ an H back and change the OOP to around 1%.

The exploit is not in cost. It's in differences in ALGs. See below, aaasahi got it. There would be almost no reason to ever create a TE.

How did you get there is a 5% Standard OOP? I heard the DE/OLB wasn't as high as others and thought FB/TE would be the same as DE/OLB but I have never seen a Chart of the OOP and no one would ever tell me so how do you know this? I even made a suggestion for GLB to Release a OOP Chart and everyone acted like I spit in there coffee.

No one knows for sure what the OOP is for any position and Bort wants it to remain secret. The assumption is 5% penalty for related positions and 10% or more for unrelated positions.
the OOP affects all attributes, right? it should really only affect Football Skills. there is no circumstance in real life (sigh i know, bear with me) when a player loses raw physical capabilities from merely being at a different position.

That's all well and dandy, but this is a game.
Users will always find advantages in anyway possible. Realism has to take a backseat to insuring gameplay is fair and reasonable.
