I know lifetime contracts are NGTH, but I just had 76 of my own players on the 2 teams I own become free agents because I forgot to extend their contracts.

Similar to the 'Automatically accept this offer' check box, add a 'Automatically extend this contract' option to have the player auto-sign an identical contract on the day he is due to become a free agent.

To give the players freedom, they could A) Decline to sign contracts with Auto-Extend or B) Have a option in the Contract Offers page to turn off the Auto-Extend for their current contract.

How do you not know when your OWN Contracts are running out and your the Owner? C-Mon MAN!!!

at one time contracts for players would show in red if they were about to expire

perhaps have all players in the final year of their contract have the lettering be red instead of black anywhere their name can be seen (team pages, home pages, player pages, etc.) then it would be obvious to all without any annoying alerts

PS - this is why I send 3-year offers every off season so no one is ever close to the end of their deal

This has been suggested before in other variances and I'm surprised something like this has never been implemented.

Happened to my team Season 28 and bounced back to win Silver,
as non-boosters none the less
