for this scrimmage i set the tactics to 100% pass, yet only 17 passing attempts made compared to 47 rushing attempts...what gives??

1) Private game so we can't see it
2) Is it a casual league?

even if u cant see the details, 1/3 were passing plays despite 100% pass. it's not casual.
my only guess was the 75% thing about move away from my tactics.

If you want it to stick strictly to your gameplan you need to make sure auto adjust is turned down to 0

I believe he's using Basic AIs. Depth chart is set up like a casual team.

so You could just go in basic tactics and set it to Automatically adjust 'No' and '0'

Its been doing this for years. The team I used to have, I spent a lot of time scouting and game planning. Advanced tactics, custom depth, custom plays, etc, etc. We faced one team that was beast at stopping the run but worst in the leag stopping the pass. So naturally I called the pass. Out of 42 plays, 2 were passes and the rest were runs. No auto adjust, no other inputs, ran the AI tester, filed a bug report. Had a mod look over the AI, etc, etc.

Final answer.....

Bad streak with the RNG.

Even though 100% chance to call something shouldnt need the RNG to determine which play to call, that was the answer. I've dealt with it for 3 years, 23 seasons. Every season there was at least one game that did it. Every season I put up a bug report. Every season I went through the same hoops, the same steps all for the same answer.

Bad streak with the RNG.

Auto adjust does freaky stuff. As a guy that has played casual with a lot of success over the years, it's a wild beast to try to tame. I mostly turn it off.

If you want no variance at all, then have every input have 1 output for every situation possible. Then test every situation.

You'll likely have to have someone look at your AI to see what is going on. Sometimes people set things without realizing it and it causes problems. Trying to figure out why your AI is not working from a few descriptions is pretty difficult.

Yup, and when I was learning how to be a bad OC, Catch himself reviewed my OAI when I asked nicely.

See, mods aren't so bad.
