If a Semi Pro team wins gold in Elite #1, do they go straight to a PRO league or have to go to Reg Pro first?

What is the motivation to try to win anything in this game? I think the answer to your question should be that you try to win because winning is fun.

No used to the good teams could skip a league all together and not have to basically "waste" a season in reg pro. When more times than not theyd go 16-0 in reg pro, so no point in it. Would be nice if it were still that way. Hell so many reg pro teams could destroy some pro teams.

Motivation
To win WL = You are best team in game
To win PRO = You get to go to WL
Reg Pro = Nothing...youre going to Pros anyway if youre top 8 i guess
Semi Pro = Nothing...youre going to reg pro...
all below... no motivation, you just get to move up next season.

It's funny you make this comment because I could easily point to you a thread where users are complaining that having all non-playoff teams in National Pro demote is unfair and that there aren't enough good teams in Regional Pro.

To each his own. I want to win my University team's playoffs, not so I can brag or get some kind of recognition/advantage but because it is fun.

Guess my care level in this game is just gone.

Reg Pro will hopefully be tougher next season with the new structure. You've got the 9th place teams in Pro, the winners of Reg Pro Competitive, the teams that hung around in Elite, and the teams that were Elite the season prior.

You may still walk through Reg Pro pretty easily, but if you aren't level 79 yet, you might have some teams with their road to WL team ready to go who might give you a hard time.

Maybe not for everyone, but my last team I owned skipped it, then won WEPL, and went to WL. Didnt have to waste a season in reg pro.
