Warrior General Games

This should have been suggested before the storm but now there is a chance of another storm coming in. Why not everyone show some love and pause the entire game to let everyone get their power and internet back up.

Bad situation on up their and it would be a good heartfelt gesture to those people up there and we as a community should just accept a quick game pause to show our support.

Such is life. The inernet and this game is world wide.

Yes, that area has been devastated by the storm, but that is not the first disaster to strike anywhere in the world in the last 4 years.

If you really want to help I'm sure the salvation army has donation set up, send them 20$ instead via paypal instead of buying more flex. (and I'm not trying to insinuate that the OP was gonna buy flex anytime soon)

It does suck for them and I hope for those people that have gone through it to get a speedy recovery. Having lived in South Florida for 40 years I do know what it's like to live through a major storm and be without electricity and running drinkable water for weeks. My thoughts go out to the people there.

I feel for those people. This game can't shut down for a handful of users from the NE, though.

I live in South Florida... We never get a pause for all the hurricanes. So why should any where else get one? It's only fair. Nothing they can do but wait. And I'm sure the real addicts to this game have a cell to check how their player(s)/team(s) are doing. So that's a -1 from me, sorry.

I know it was tough for me, but it is just a game. I know agents have commitments to others and that goes beyond just a MMORPG, but I think they will live. Most have families to take care of as well and more important things to attend to.

I was just thowing this out there. I knew the odds would be slim. Im sure its the last thing on anyones mind thats actually up there.
Arent there certain charities that make sure a very large percentage if not all of the money you donate actually goes to where its supposed to?

I remember after Katrina that some of the charities only gave a portion and kept some because they took a cut..

I already donated to the Red Cross, but I was just curious.

Its a fine idea.

But Bort makes his money churning the sims and seasons. Two weeks delay is coin out of his pocket and thats a bit much to realistically expect.

Not everyone in New Jersey and New York are without power/internet. Not everyone still being adversely affected by the storm play GLB. I think you greatly overestimate how many users are from that area.
