Is it possible in this game? and in a casual league more specifically? Maybe Im just missing something...

Do I just use a custom QB slot? or is there more to it? Does it work well?

Players receive an "out of position penalty" when playing a position other than their own. The QB position specifically has some huge out of position penalties. A HB or WR may take 30% (HB is 50%) or more hit to their attributes if they're tucked at QB.

You are much better off going with a QB built to be a rusher.

For casual, there is a 'Wildcat' preset you can use. Alternatively, teams will use only rushing QBs at their QB position and avoid pass plays as much as possible.

If you do use the Wildcat preset you'll have to consult this FAQ for how to setup the custom slots to match the preset AI: http://goallineblitz.com/game/faq.pl?cat=Preset%20Gameplans#272

Thanks for your help, Romo! I was just looking for a way to keep up with this heavy rushing team(which seems to be more effective), but I should probably be more focused on stopping them :-p

He said in a casual league. You can only use presets in a casual league.

Well he said more specifically. But if he ever needed regular plays I have them. +0.5 cookies.

I dont agree that the OOPP is that high for a HB.

I have used HBs and WRs as a wildcat back and the HB has the advantage I think.

i've seen teams try to use HB at QB and it never worked out well. the HB would like like he was in slow motion.

HB at FB works much better. HB at QB = fail
