I have to admit I know absolutely nothing about either of these positions.

Yes. Any game where there are a lot of kickoffs (or punts) you'll see the K/P start to get a little tired.
We're obviously not talking 60+ or anything crazy, but ~40-48 is generally safe territory.

hmmm.... I'm not sure.. I currently have a level 37 Kicker that has 4 stamina and level 72 with 6...... Best way to figure it out is just look at what your guys energy level is after a game. If it's a blow out game (as a kicker) and you're kicking a lot of PATS/FG's and kickoffs you'll obviously be more tired than in a game where you are doing those things more normally. If your guy is getting really gassed during games that are close and he's not on the field as often I would say you should invest some training to bump it up...IMHO I would never put any SP into stamina accept maybe on position players way later in their build. But you should be able to get your stamina up high enough just from training. I could train my kicker right now and in like 5 intense sessions bump it up between 5 and 7 points. Only time my kickers have been gassed are in blow out wins late in the game.
My attitude is the last thing you want is a negative hit to your attributes (from being tired) resulting in a less than ideal output in a late game situation.

... and even then it doesn't affect their ability. They still kick / punt as far as they do at the end of the 4th as they do early in the 1st

Strongly disagree.

Someone needs to pull out some replays of punts and see the difference between the 1st quarter and 4th quarter of those guys so we know who is right or wrong

Not going to give that player's build, but you can see the relative decrease in kickoff length as energy depletes in the blowout.

Is that energy or the blowout penalty, though?

Kinda a tough gauge. All of a sudden he rocks a 68 yard kick in the 4th.

Good point on the blowout penalty. I think the point still stands from the plays before the penalty.
