Penalties do not make the game better, more awesome, more real,or add any kind of enhancement to the game what so ever. I get real sick of totally random bull shit playing big rolls on critical drives and downs. I'm not saying they cost me games or don't cost me games because I really don't know what could have been. What the hell is the point?

I suggest get rid of them or have them make some kind of sense rather than just random.

Not really sure what the problem with the penalties is. They really aren't all that common.

Rookie ball, the false starts are obnoxious. Then you never see them again.

Honestly I wouldn't care if they got rid of them.

+1 it if it means JTS and Hard Count go away and get replaced with a couple more interesting VAs.

Any are too much.

Example tonight I was down 11 near the end of the 3rd quarter and moving the ball quite well. 4th and 0.5 on the opponent's 28 would have been a pretty automatic conversion. False start ends the drive. I'm confident we would have scored and been down 4, instead the drive ends. Sure I could of called a better play on 4th and 5.5 but why the hell should I even have to?

Maybe if there was some risky tactic setting that was human caused it would have been ok. What's the point of having any? Would anyone really be disappointed to see them go bye bye?

Getting tired of seeing PWs committing 3 or 4 straight false starts.

this ^

Why have a couple of penalties and none of the others? Pretty stupid.

Both sides have to deal with them. I actually wished Hard Count still worked tbh.

Yeah I've had this happen to me as well, pisses you off getting fucked on a drive by some RNG bullshit that you have absolutely no control over.

Have to deal with them?..... I'll take that as a +1

I don't care either way. Although I don't play the peewee game and they don't happen enough in the upper levels to be of any significance. There is much worse RNG in this game than a false start.

The biggest issue I have with penalties is... the game doesn't cover them all. Hell, it doesn't even cover 1% (an exaggeration, yes... but not that far off)!!! To me it's like spending hours baking a cake from scratch... then plopping it onto the plate as is and calling it done. No icing... nothing... just cake. Either finish it or bake brownies. Both are good... but one doesn't require icing. The game feels half-baked with only the couple of penalties available. So I say take them out... for now. When you figure out how to incorporate a better (and bigger) penalty engine into the game, fine. Bring them back then. But, for now, it's a worthless little gnat in an otherwise find game.

if penalties were based on the builds i might not care, but as is, they are 100% random bullshit. i stopped playing pw because of them. last time i played, our o-line dominated the d-line the entire game, yet we had 11 penalties .its really hard to win when every possession had a penalty to over come. that same game where we dominated their d-line, they had like 2 penalties. the other 3 post season games, we had a grand total of 3 (2-1-0).

pure random shit doesnt belong in a game based on builds and skill.

Either get rid of them or add more...

pass interference would be nice
holding
roughing the passer
roughing the kicker (seen many kickers get run through and still get the kick off)
horse collar tackle (I know out of all these diving tackles a few have to be horse collars, but dots don't have collars so *shrug*),

and of course the newly installed penalty of...

intention grounding, where the QB throws away the ball while inside the "tackle box".

Intentional grounding, pass Interference and roughing the kicker would not be tough to implement with the way the sim is now. The others would be tough for a sim game. Now, I have no idea how tough it is to code or how to code, so this is an opinion.
