The issue; Sometimes you just don't end up with a full roster going into the season... but almost all teams have enough players to cover their offensive and defensive positions. The problem comes when you are setting up ST's and the lack of a full roster causes stamina issues at weak (limited depth) positions. The typical solution is to sign a CPU player as a backup... but since that backup will probably be used on ST's, then it would be great if we could sign STOP CPU's for this situation and hence, the suggestion.

Now I reckon, without some limitations to this, some teams would try to exploit this somehow (although why anyone would WANT a CPU dot over a HUMAN dot is beyond me). To address that issue I also propose that the ability to sign CPU STOPS is limited as follows; #1, Only 1 CPU STOP per position (keeps people from signing 10 CUP STOP Centers). #2, Only 5 CPU STOPS allowed per team. (Keeps people from overly abusing the system by signing all CPU STOPS instead of Human Dots for their ST's).

One thing I don't know is if there is even such a thing as CPU STOP archetypes. Which is kinda stupid, if true, when I think about it. All teams in GLB should have equal access to ALL archetypes... even CPU teams. If there's no such thing as a CPU STOP, then that too should be corrected before this could be implemented.
I look forward to your ideas and support for this. Thanks.

you had me confused in the 1st couple of paragraphs since there is no current limiting of signing players. there should be a way to sign cpus with the ST archetype, but there doesnt need to be any limits to it since they arent going to be that good anyways, and the more cpu players that you have, the worse they get already. but IMO, they are are better positions to chose for players on ST only than any ST archs.

I somewhat agree. While I don't wanna give away stuff here, I've always thought you really don't need more than a handful of STOPs. #1 is the center... mostly because they handle long snapping duties real well (better than most other dots I've tried there). I also like at least 2 offensive STOPS and 2 defensive STOPS that I can use on both sides of the ST's. And the biggest (and best) reason for that is to KEEP FROM having to use main-line players on ST's as much as possible. I find having 4 STOPS (2 off/2 def) lets me really limit how many main-line dots I have to use AND how much I use them.

As for your confusion, I know there isn't any limits currently... but I "believe" that, if this IS implemented, that some would simply sign CPU STOPS instead of Human STOPS due to how much cheaper it is (and, sometimes, easier). I'm not worried about limitations on REGULAR Dots... just STOPS. And it's just myself trying to make sure loopholes are covered so issues don't come up later.
