Anyone know how high str, ctch, agi and spd should be on a level 79 power wr? Also, what sort of aeq upgrades and sa should you target? Many thanks.

In this sim, a tackle breaking WR really has to be a receiver first. The days of 80 and 90 strength WRs are pretty much gone, imo.

If you can build a WR with 150+ speed/90+ agility/85+ catching and then some strength and carrying (like 60 strength/73 carrying), go for it. YAC Attack VA, +% break tackle, and Spin will be all you really need from that front.

you don't really need 150+ speed to catch balls as a TE.

Honestly, I wouldn't even consider signing a receiving TE with less than 150 speed.

I understand that's the number everyone shoots for, but a TE can be productive with less speed. It's all how your OC uses him.

different strokes imo

Low speed can work just fine if you have high catching.

I agree with bolick?

Hmm, 150 in speed seems crazy for a power wr. Is there really no point in even choosing that archetype then? If you're going to go 150 to speed then you might as well make a speedster.

like bollick said, you can get away with less speed if you have high catching.

Power receivers don't even have speed as a major so you would not really be trying to get speed that high imo and I can't tell you how much Strength is enough, but I can tell you that if you are going to be slower, you need 100+ catching, maybe even 110+ catching.

I don't want to post anymore cause I am not completely familiar with what you are trying to build.

good luck.

Power receivers blow in the current sim. There was some discussion that Bort might look at making it easier to break tackles after a catch since right now that happens much too rarely regardless of build, but now that GLB is officially out of Beta I'm not getting my hopes up. I built this guy with my free player but he'll probably suck: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=3799337

So I guess that leaves out the top rTE in WL for the past 3 seasons, and the currently ranked #13 TE of all time?

right, because he wouldn't be better with more speed to go with that catch fake?
I bet my te has a better catches:jumping ratio
