thinking it means he is scared, chit his pants, and getting rid of the ball in a hurry? amirite?

It means he read a blitz. Depending on his QB tactics will determine whether he dumps it off faster than normal.

- QB can now "sense" a blitz via a vision check (! icon on replay), and will adjust his throwing thresholds accordingly to try and beat it. Passes defined as "short" specifically will be thrown the quickest and work the best.

Nah... just look for the brown spots on the field. Unless he DOESN'T see the ghost of L.T. a-commin... then look for the stretcher.
