No I don't think it matters (as far as an OOPP) what dot plays returner.

Nope. Some people used centers there back when they got +1 strength per level.

Didn't bort add a penalty to stop people from using centers at KR? I don't remember what season it was but using centers there was all the rage. They would slowly march their way to the endzone and they were hard to tackle because they were so strong.

Maybe he didn't. I'm certainly not going on a wild goose chase looking for a bort quote on the subject.

No, there is. Long Snapper has an OPP.

You think a FB with good Kicking would not get an OPP if playing Kicker? I ask because I am intrigued to make one.

Even if it's a STOP Center??? That would seem ludicrous....

it just needs to be any OL position

can't be a LB or something like that

But my puzzlement is that a STOP center would be considered OOP for playing long snapper.... That just doesn't make any sense to me. Either that or I'm misunderstanding his post.

Yea, you misunderstood my post, that or my wording was bad.

A STOP C is still an o-lineman, and my understanding is that any position outside of O-line would get an OOPP at long snapper. And still it isn't much, it's not like there is gonna be a muffed snap, just slows the timing and slightly increases the chance of a blocked kick (but not punt, no blocked punts in GLB)

Tackle
Guard
Center. : all any archetype = good long snapper

Any other position= OPP long snapper (but hardly noticeable )

As for all other ST positions, I think the CPU considers some positions to be better suites for certain ST depth spots, but no OPP. Except probably at kicker/punter but even then I am unsure.
