I've out of the game a few years, snuck back in last season and had a bit of a play around. I'm wondering what the best method is these days for building players? I'm sure theres no one true method but I know there are things I've done in my last few builds that aren't right (e.g. SA's in early levels. That was never cool)

So heres my current proposed method.

Create player in off season. Don't spend the 15 skill points.
Train primary skill on intense until I have enough bonus tokens to enhance. Enhance. Enhance.
Keep training and enhancing until the the skill points saved can reach a cap.
Keep putting bonus tokens into enhance until 5 stars.
Start putting bonus tokens into multi-train until I can multi-tran the 4 attributes I want to train.
Enhance the rest of the training attributes one at a time.

So the questions I have are:

1) Is it better to train on light to get more bonus tokens early, and
2) Is it better to get to multi-train sooner or enhance, or
3) Am I totally off track?

I expect there are a few different methods and different things work for different builds, but I'm wondering what the consensus is.

Your method is not ideal, but it is not bad. Just make sure you get your primary attribute to the first cap before boosting and don't start multi-training before it is at the third cap. Also, 5 stars might just be overkill. 3 is more usual.

before your first boost should look something like this:
Enhance the first attribute to 10%, train intense three times, enhance to 20%, then train intense until you have a nearly full bar at 32.9x. Convert 15 bonus tokens to a skill point and cap to 48.9x.

Do not enhance past the 30% mark on any given attribute.
Don't rush to multi-train. Rushing into multi-training can more easily lead to you training an attribute that is in the mid-30s among other "complications" could arise. I would say around the middle to end of season 1 you should have your tokens needed for multi-training and taking all of the attributes to 30% that you will train for a good while. You may have to alternate your free multi slot sometimes to keep from training an attribute less effectively (see the mid-30s attibutes)

You have to train on Relaxed after games so you can recover your stamina for the next game.

I know there must be at least 10 threads about how to train a new dot. Try and look around and do some homework and then ask any questions you have. There are some threads that go into great detail and answer a lot of newbie questions.

This was in GLB main and in season 1 this was a true statement
