Seems that a STOP who leads the league in forced fumbles or whatever doesn't qualify for the FF trophy if the fumbles were all forced while playing special teams?

STOPs sorta blow to own: no chance at ST MVP, no conference leader awards, no tab anywhere to sort STOP stats, not even a position talk forum.

I have STOPs that have FFum trophies (including S30), so it's probably a blowout-adjusted stats issue.

Peeps don't build STOPS for trophies... they build them so returners can win trophies. That said, you can STILL win MVP's with STOPS as long as the STOP plays enough defense (never seen a O-STOP win a trophy) to gather enough tackles and such to go with his ST stats. I've only done it once with a Safety STOP (only one I ever built).
IMOHO, the only STOPS really worth building are STOP centers (for long snapping and as STOP players). 2 is enough but a few more won't kill you. The other ST players can be "COMBO styles" that usually are backups at their respective positions. COMBO's work very well as STOPS and can still preform good enough (if built right) to contribute on offense and defense.
