With the first batch of players from the Free Player Era coming of age, I was surprised that the XP cap was so rigid that it stopped right at level 73 as soon as the dot hit it.

One of the best joys on being an agent was converting that XP into the last TP's for the dot that for the next 5 seasons. It seems wrong that previous generations of built dots were able to enjoy this advantage, while future generations are no longer able to do so. So, I propose that the XP cap be changed that no player can reach level 74, by placing at level 73.999 or marginally close to 73.999

Why not just ask for 15 extra trains and an additional 2 bonus tokens when you hit plateau? It's essentially the same thing.

Oh and -1 as this would punish those who had actually planned their builds and equipment well in advance.

it just seems unfair to the agents of the younger players as we were all able to get the older players to 79 high before. I think the consistency would be a desired result. I have my EQ planned out well anyways for my dots, so your point is moot for me.

But if you want to call it 15 extra TP's +2 BT's sure.

It will be consistent from this point on.

The younger players will be much better anyway. The training gains were multiplied by 1.6 but the players don't age 1.6 times as fast at lower levels, so you can train your early attributes more between the caps. It makes a world of difference.

are you sure about that? I don't see much difference in builds now than 5 seasons ago from an SP value.

I find it bizarre that something that was once a common nuance of the game is phased out in a rather hush hush manner. Besides. it really makes the game more boring as you do no training for 5.5 seasons, or 10 months. That is a long time to do relatively nothing with your dot other than log-in to see how he played. By allowing for one last bit of training, would allow for some satisfaction/closure with the agent and his building of a dot.

This is a plus 1 minus 1 for me i can see both sides however its fair across the board from now on

My only complaint is that each level is not played on the same day in which they need to do to ensure total fairness

That is an understandable point. I get that gripe, and mine is as much about not being able to do much with a dot for 10 months of time.
