Kinda annoying that I have to have a dot that has finished his season, and career, wait until Day 41 to retire. I would like to have that flex now both so I can easily see what I have to spend this off season, and to pay for team maintenance and boosts. I would also like to get the house cleaning of retiring dots out of the way now so that on Day 41 I can be busy building new dots and signing new free agents.

So, Allow Signed Dots to Retire Pre-Day 41 If Team Has Finished Season - meaning they are no longer playing green or gold dot games - and if their contract is set to expire on day 41 of this season.

A no from me. I see it as a player has signed a contract so he should honor the contract completely

I'm really not all that hardcore for or against it. Just get tired of people reposting season after season suggestions that were not exactly overwhelmingly popular the first 25 times it was suggested.

A BIG no from me for this main reason: Team owners put a LOT of time, effort and money (flex) into their teams... recruiting is a biatch mostly... and that would be a MAJOR headache for those owners to log in and suddenly see several positions missing from their rosters WITHOUT WARNING!!! Man up and PM your team owner if you need released in order to retire for flex. It's the RIGHT way to do it.

To what purpose past the last game of the season? No one is doing anything meaningful from their last league game till day 41. Pointless scrims with "last seasons" AI and "last seasons" roster.

But the owner CAN'T release the player for flex due to the roster lock. That is the whole point of this. Its to ease up the roster lock but only in the case of a dot that is bound for the flexer anyway.

And as noted above, what does the owner care? The dot wasn't going to extend anyway.

Also, what's so difficult about working out what flex you will have when you retire your players on day 41? Isn't day 40/41-48 enough time to work all that out and build new players?

I have I dont even know how many. Hundreds of dots, and seven teams plus recruiter for a few more.

Just click and gone for the retiring dots now would make things a lot simpler and be of no great consequence to any one else. You do not understand why given your current activity level, but I do.

Oh sorry i should have realised this is a thread about making GLB even simpler for yello......i don't see any other agents with as many if not more dots and teams than you +1ing this suggestion or asking for the same thing.

Just as for a release and then retire. How hard is that?
