perhaps some fake kicks.....HB passes or just a good ol' fashion reverse would get the spark going....hell if we can't twist something to cause some interest!

-1 to trick plays. because if they are added then GLB has to give defenses the ability to defend them. the game is already screwy enough without having more retarded movements from the Dots.
HMMM.....how bout ad some defense trickery to go with.....stunt blitz.......better blocked kicks or punts and why not flood zone with one d lineman?

in theory all of the stuff mentioned would be cool. but you also have to look at the other side of the coin and that is the coding and the pathing of the dots and so on. you guys are asking for stuff that would make this game completely terrible. for the simple fact that the game is more than not likely capable of implementing the stuff. seriously how long has it taken for GLB to fix the game good enough to take it out of BETA? so while the stuff you are suggesting would be neat I simply do not think it would do anything but screw what few things actually work with the game up.
Fix the current game 1st,then I'll +1 this.
Until then when I hear about trick plays and HB passes and reverse plays the more I think about the complaining that will follow it.

*Oh noes I set it so the HB passes the ball and he held the ball and ran instead,why he do that*
Maybe when our own teammates stop tackling our own players we'll have a chance to add something nice like this.

onside kicks might be easy to code--they did manage to work in 2 pt conversions on a limited basis.
as to the rest of it (fake kicks, reverses, HB passes, etc), I'd agree with most of the posters--fix the regular stuff first.

Um... first things first. #1, and still being worked on, is the pathing of blockers and runners. Check the various posts about this issue and you'll understand that we really need these things to be working well (even if not perfectly) before we start ading in even MORE plays that require pathing of blockers and runners... not to mention the other issues with defenses having vision check problems and other small details that cause various BUG reports. Your idea isn't bad... the timing is. BTW... we STILL don't have PUNT after safety yet so I'd rather fix current issues first before adding more. (Trying to imagine the gigantic pile of "Things To Do" on Borts' desk...
