I will start off by stating this is my first time owning a team, and also first time having any kind of control beyond that of a player. My team is composed of all human controlled players. 40 (of the 52) are mine (retired my old lvl 60+ guys from the beginning of the game). The rest are split between 3 friends of mine. My players are all boosted once, with the exception of my 1 free player, my QB, and one of my CBs.

What I would like to know is, how do you set up your team to become an offensive juggernaut, as I have seen other teams in my league be. One team, have no boosted players at all, is scoring over 100 every game, while allowing 0 in each. What kind of settings does it take for that kind of efficiency? How do you have a QB who is miles ahead in passing yards, while also have the best rushing attack in the league. How does a pair of fullbacks score 47 TDs in 8 games? My team punts often, and usually has to drive down the field to score, and has one of the only kickers in the league to have even attempted a FG (although it has set him up for Kicker MVP). I guess I just don't understand how to create a truly efficient offense, and would just like to know how it's done, whether is playcalling, tactics, or playbook modifications.

Just for reference:

My league - http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=236
The team I was mostly referring to - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=7524

Any help would be appreciated

You seem to be doing fine, and the team you're referring to has played all cpu teams.

But so have I and my team has yet to crack 100 points. I don't care about stats per say, but I want to make sure we are able to compete when we do play him

If it was easy, everyone would be doing it. One thing I remember from my OC-ing days was there are plays every season that just don't work well... and some that work VERY well and virtually always. GLB tries to keep that in check as best can but I still think there are inherent patterns of successful plays. I'll give a small example; Many seasons ago I found that cuts and crossing routes really messed up the timing of low-level (PeeWee) dots in defense. Plays where the receiver only goes about 3-13 yards down field and makes a "cut"... preferably to the inside... or plays where the receiver runs a route that "crosses" with another receiver. Those plays had about a 70% success ratio so I used them a lot. Since then I suppose GLB had tweaked zones and such to where, maybe, it's not nearly as successful (maybe 50%?) Who knows... it's been many seasons ago. What I'm getting at is you gotta scout your OWN team heavy. Several games, especially those against quality opponents... not CPU's. And watch every play. Take notes of what plays are called and when. Against a good team that uses a good scout, any tendencies you trend to show consistently will be used against you... violently. That kind of info is JUST as important to your team as it is to your opponents. Find what works and works well... and don't just always do "the usual" thing (like pass on 3rd and 7 instead of run). AI's adjust to repetition... even CPU ones. Hope some of that helps.

Alright, I have a few other questions in the same category.

1. Packages vs Playbook vs Presets - What is the difference? How do they work together? Does one override the other since they all deal with offensive plays? It is very unclear

2. How do you set specific situations, like go for it on 4th down in short yardage? Playcalling AI doesn't really have anything specific, just says override default playcalling, but not what it becomes. I have read the "How it works" but it's not clear as to what it changes to.

3. Percentage Bias in Packages - Is this just how likely it is to be picked, or something else entirely?
