What if instead of needing to know friends or join a d-league team, you could search all the owners with Rookie Teams and see their roster and just sign yourself up?
Basically, a rookie owner would set his team to "open roster" and agents who build new dots can sort through a list of by owner teams and see how the rosters are doing and join. Owners would of course be able to confirm/deny. You can look for friends you know or agents you've played against but would like to join a team with. Or maybe it's going to be a farm team for a team you've always wanted to play for.
Owners can set their teams a few different options too. 0cares Farm Team for xxx, Competitive coordinating team, Competitive Farm Team for xxx, New Team Owner, etc.... This way, people who just want to get xp and ignore their dots till plateau can join those teams and people who are looking for a more competitive atmosphere can join other teams.
You'd also help fill teams more instead of just having a bunch of D-League teams. It would be friendly to new users too because you don't have to join a cpu team right away, gets you into the human interaction forum element quickly. Plus, it's tough filling those farm and new teams out because no one reads TLFP and then you just need to be in the right team/private forums
tl;dr: Make a "team marketplace"
