I would wait to do it until you have trained / capped every other attribute that you plan to take to 60+. If you want to have Stamina at the lower levels, you can just use Normal EQ to add it. You can then change your normal EQ to something better later or replace it with AE.

I rotate it through the free spot in my multi-training to get it up in the mid-30s, but I don't cap it until level 50 or later.

Also... a lot depends on your position and build. Kicker? Almost no stamina needed. WR with 8 strength? As soon as you can without hurting the rest of your build, get it to 60+. Blocking TE with 100+ strength? 48+ at the end of the build is fine.

I agree with this especially with returner dots where stamina does come into play quicker than most (unless your returner signs with a team the exclusively uses him as a returner and not also as a position player backup). Using the free EQ to boost his stamina allows you to concentrate on the more important skills for now and then address Stamina later as you replace his free EQ with AEQ.
(edit) And also, the free EQ is resetable every season so you can adjust as you go along.

TBH, you should probably 3-cap stamina on all dots besides kickers and punters.
60 stamina on O-line/D-line is already overkill tbh.

Yeah, stamina is generally the last thing that I do tbh.
