Does it work for WR's?

Yes....works better if he has supporting attributes.

In theory, but we had a WR with it and I don't remember it firing.

works well for CB and WR returners

I would think a WR in the offense would need the same break tackle stacks and VA's to go with it, but to me I would rather all SA's and VA's support making the catch instead

Yeah, I had it on a WR with a ton of strength. Saw a decent number of broken tackles, not one of them related to power through.

^^^ this ^^^ I also have a power WR that is plenty strong and it works for him fine... when it fires. I just wish it would fire more often.

maybe you have to be moving at a certain speed for it to fire or have had the ball for a certain amount of time?

When you say you had power thru on your WR.....how many did you have in it? About what was your strength and carrying?

Just curious to the supporting attributes is all

I forget how much our guy had in Power Through, but his strength was over 80 and his carrying was high 70s along with two pieces of break tackle. For whatever reason, receivers (including TEs) just don't break tackles at the rate you think a similar build would at HB. It's definitely possible that the lack of momentum after the catch is the culprit.

Ok. My bad. I got "Power Through" and "Break Tackle" confused on my dots. My Power WR does NOT have Power Through. S'plains why I don't see it happen too often. It was so much easier when I only had a few dots to manage! Damn alzheimers.
But he still does break tackles which is a slightly different version of Power Through... so I'll post what you asked for.
Strength : 71.38
Carrying : 66.38
Hope this helps a little.

Blocking TE. At one time I gave him YAC attack and Slippery (didn't have the carrying for Bruiser) during the free VA resets. I ran like 20 scrims and dumped a lot of YAC Attack range short passes off to him where YAC and Slippery should both be active. Reset Slippery and put the running slider all the way up. Saw some broken tackles, Power Through not so much.

She only over had 6 points in it, but there's just so many places to put SPs on a receiver that after the Christian Shep test, it didn't seem worth the investment. Better to improve something else. She was pretty much a bust imo.

I would maybe consider doing it on a TE again. I would get Bruiser, load up the Strength, Carrying, and Speed. Throw those YAC attack routes that stay outside where you get single coverage, might be able to bust open.

I still think that a Spin/Hurdle combination is better for WRs because they already have the agility and jumping requirement, but if you are thinking of building a blocking WR combo, power through MIGHT work... but the dot you are hitting needs to be in front of you for it to work (I think, I remember that being the thing with the Powerback SAs... direction of tackle mattered).

I had a HB with a ton a few seasons ago and I never (as far as I can remember) saw it fire downfield, so I think it is positional on the field.

I seem to remember reading some time ago that it only worked near the line of scrimmage.

not sure, it fires for the powerbacks on my teams constantly. Jay gets it 2 times in a single play sometimes. fucking beast mode. I feel like im watching Lynch carry the ball.

You can view these two guys to see if power through works.
