apparently you can't have more than 8 players of any one position, even if they are ST guys? does anyone know if there's a way to override?

Yeah, there's no limit. Turn off the 'no over sign' crap.

hmm.. I bought a pee wee team to experiment with...wanted to have 12 CBs...won't let me do it-- there is definitely a limit of some kind but it may only be when CPU players are involved
I had signed 8 CPUs, it wouldn't let me add more, so I made some humans and tried to add them, it wouldn't let me, so I cut some CPUs and tried to add humans, still wouldn't push past 8.
Will try 9 humans and see what happens and post back here--also Mat, please unlock related thread in suggestions as there is 100% a limit of some kind.

ok..did let me sign 10 humans but only after cutting all the CPU dots as won't allow any mix of humans and CPUs at same position (regardless of AT) beyond 8

It's the same, regardless if you selected yes or no to the over sign question, also, I never went above 50 players when I tested this, so it wasn't because I was at my max 55 players, and these are only cpu players
