Whats' better to get the most out of your player?

Is it better to upgrade the training or using permanent skill points?

Also, if I retire my "Free" dot, will I be able to create another "free" one?

enhancing training is far more valuable than skill points early in your build, especiallty for any attribute that you plan to train more than 10 or 15 points. Obviously, the value gotten from enhancing training is directly related to how much you plan to train. It would not be useful to enhance your training for an attribute that you are about done training.

Just keep in mind that you really want to have enough BTs to buy and upgrade at least 3 AE, as the % bonuses and +3 attribute bonuses are worth more than any other use of BTs.

Most times it is better to use BT's for other things besides permant SP's.
There are a couple of instances early in career where swapping BT to gain a SP is good, if it will allow you to raise an attribute past a cap. Only do this 1 or 2 times. Otherwise use those BT's to enhance training and unlock multi training slots, and save them up to get your Advanced EQ and also upgrading it. And NEVER use BT's for temporary attribute boost, no matter what the team owner says.
