Not sure if this has been suggested and didn't see it on the NGTH List but I suggest we have actual Designed Roll Out Plays for Mobile QB's. I don't see where a few QB Waggle's and Bootleg Plays would hurt the Defense and it would actually allow the Mobile QB's to take advantage of the "On the Run" SA as well as give them a chance to be productive since the QB Scrambling and Run Frequency aren't panning out.

*Note: I am not talking about pure Rushing QB's, I'm talking about QB's built like this:

Like a Fran Tarkenton QB basically.

Would be too overpowered with the way defenders recognize (or fail to recognize) things behind the LOS. I believe Bort even said this himself.

I would agree Dub but why give us the option to make those type QB's if they are destined to fail? They should tell the Noobs when making a Player, "You can do it this way but your wasting your time"?

I coached a Player like that and it was very frustrating not being able to Play him the way he needed to be. Like Doug Flutie or Drew Brees, The smaller QB's that you "Move" the Pocket for them basically.

You could just make a designed rollout a part of the QB progressions and use the existing plays.

Doesn't mean it WILL happen, but it could be done that way.

That's an idea.

Until something is figured out, there is no such thing as a scrambling QB.

You either have one of two options:

Tim Tebow (runs but can't throw)
or
Payton Manning (throws but can't run)

No Doug Fluties, Michael Vicks or Cam Newtons in the current setup

I wish Bort would "teach" the defenders how to read plays better so this could be implemented, tbh.

A Rod can run better than Manning, and pass better than Tebow... still not there yet.

Maybe a Vince Young or Jay Cutler, because trust me if your Throwing is high as a scrambler, you are getting sacked if you try to run. Likewise if your running is high as a scrambler, you can throw the ball 10 yards without it hitting a duck somewhere.

I would just like something to get done, The way it is now, We can't run Bootlegs, we can't run Options, we can't Pass the Ball(Still too many Bad Passes) or at least, can't use Screens, we can't Run Outside(So many DC's are coming with Nickel and Dime looks and having the DB's or S's outside) so.... let's just Run the Power Back up the middle for 3 Yds. per Carry and go for it on 4th Down...Really?

I don't see option ever being implemented. Seems like a coding nightmare.

I'm by trade a DC but I do call the Offense on here for a few Teams and it takes into the regular Season to get the Passing Game going and even then you struggle with the Player Tactics (Which they won't let us see even if the User would agree to it) and it just gets to be a headache and is the reason so many Agents are hanging up there cleats...O And I forgot to mention, NO Play Action either. We are playing Rugby more so than Football!!
