This isn't the first good idea that kinda got/feels shuffled to the shelf because of overriding issues of a bigger nature that intertwine with the OP. I hear you... and understand... but still prefer that if GLB is going to put forth effort into upgrades, fixes, and/or repairs... they should adress the bigger concerns first. Then get to the cake.
