But on the flip side, there are so many suggestions up for vote, implemented, under consideration, etc, that locating a particular suggestion is not so easy. Of course using the find feature on your browser can be an option, but why not simple number the suggestions???

Wouldn't this then allow for the suggestions to be marked in the suggested forum?
For example, if this

were to have the suggestion number (#3) in the thread after in goes up for a vote (which the moderators could later add when it does go up for a vote), it would be easier to scroll to it and vote up or down.

1. Statistic Additions (5364 votes for, 246 against) Under Consideration/In Progress
2. Make endorsement equipment for each archetype (3741 votes for, 313 against) implemented
3. Forum Title Thread Search option (3737 votes for, 333 against)

Simple

We could change the thread title to reflect the suggestion number, the only issue is, when a new suggestion goes up for voting -- ALL the threads that are up for vote would have to get the title number changed to reflect the new number.

Yea, I considered that. Which is another reason why I think there should be some sort of link to the suggestion itself. I think they call them anchor link that would take you right to the spot on the page where the suggestion would be.

Or another option would be to date the suggestions maybe. Not sure how to best make it work, but just throwing out some ideas to allow for the best input from the members so it is not so cumbersome.

Maybe even separate the "implemented" from "under consideration" etc.

Dating the day it was submitted would help quite a bit. Because we could just add the date to the title that it was submitted, and if there were multiple submitted on a single day, we can date and add the number there. That seems like something pretty plausible. We already have dates on announcements, change log, posts, etc. so don't see why it'd be hard to date when suggestions were submitted.

Could just have a +1 and -1 button in the thread that is up for vote.

It is just changing a number in a database somewhere, don't see why it would matter which page sent a request to change that number.

Even better... but not to be redundant, this would eliminate the Suggestions area.
No sense of having it in both locations, unless there is no conflict with the ability to vote in the thread or in the suggestions area.
