Allow a player to hit a Lock on a players profile that would have to be unlocked before you could spend SPs, BTs, or change training etc. and would generate a pop up message if you tried to do so.

Would be a nice idiot proofing to remind yourself to look at your player notes before doing something with a dot you have special plans for when running through your stable doing routine dot maintenance.

It's already idiot proofed enough imo. Anything more than what we have now would just be an inconvenience.

Its defiintely something you would only want to do for something very important to avoid the annoyance.

But there have been things I noted to myself, even made a guys CEQ a sign reminding me not to upgrade a % piece any more (was going to be one shy at end). And several seasons later, I was zooming through maintenance and upgraded the frakking thing anyway.

I laughed so hard I almost passed out.

I agree with both sides. I'm no idiot but I've made mistakes before. But. many old timers here don't "need" it so I get their side. Perhaps if it was just a selectable option instead of a "must exist".
