Is slow building dead? Can someone explain why? I left the game in 2009 at the height of the slow build madness.

you cant train when off of a team, you automatically get game xp when on a teams roster.

also since you play with age and not levels, you'll be way behind everyone else. why be 240 days old and be level 15 with awesome training gains versus level 68s....

Can you still slow build during the first couple of season to maximize your early gains. Meaning, save your SPs up thru the first 5 seasons in order to push training an attribute up to the cap and then dump your SPs into it?

I have been gone far to long i guess.

Well, my players are in Rookie. Its why I saved the SPs. Training gains are much more with lower attributes. I think.

I dont know though, I dont see anyone else doing it this way.

because your wasting your ALGs. if youre training past 33, youre doing it wrong. at 33, you want to get your skill to 48, then train. you get more training gains at 48 instead of 33. So youre pretty much killing your dots before their first season is done if you dont do that. thats why people circle cap.

your dot http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4258869

my dot has 25 better SP value and will only continue to increase that #.
and im a pretty shitty dot builder.

circle capping>whatever you think is good

You have to keep in mind I went inactive for about 5 weeks so that comparison is really not a very good one.

That dot had quite a few lvl ups while I was gone.

I prefer to have a better primary, tbh. I don't see how you can build your primary up as high if you're sprinkling SPs around 3 other attributes.
