TL;DR version below; synopsis: MVP coding for punters is dumb, it is basically the TOTAL YARDAGE for a Punter. This could potentially work for QB's, but the real test of a Punter should be a combination of:
Yards/Punt
Coffin Corner kicks
Within the 20 yard line
Within the 10 yard line
Within the 5 yard line
And potentially even mixing yards/return in to this (this would mean a punter gets good hang time and makes returners fair catch) - alternatively, add a 'hang time' category and rank with this as well
The current system is horribly flawed.

I didnt know where else to put this...but my P ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2346828 )currently leads South America Pro in Punting Yard Average ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/stats.pl?season=29&league_id=15&conference_id=0&stat=kicking&sort=punt_yards/punts&playoffs=0&stat_type=raw ). My P also gets a punt within the 20 yard line 1 out of every 2 kicks. A P that is ranked for 4th in the MVP in the same conference gets a P within the 20 1 out of every 4 punts and has 7 yards less per punt. Its this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2422301 .
Is this an issue with the MVP coding? I dont get how a P that has better STATS on a per capita basis isnt even close to the runnings for anything in terms of K/P MVP.
Here are current Punters in the MVP runnings for the guys in his same conference:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2253614
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2160915
They all have less stats, except for number of times punted, which are generally 30 or way more punts. The number of punts and total yards should never enter the MVP formula, there are MANY other ways of gauging the success of a punter...the number of punts only shows that you have a crappy offense, it tells NOTHING about the punter
